If you are updating MAX from a version prior to 5.5.1 3000 then you must run the ExactMAXAutoUpdate.exe program from the \EXACTSHARED\EXACT\RMSERVER\NET folder. The ExactMAXAutoUpdate program must be run to ensure that certain files on the client are updated properly. Mainly Crystal Reports files. All versions after 5.5.1 3000 can utilize the Auto Update function.
