1) Review the Batch fixes and Enhancements and associated info
2) From the DB Server
a. Backup your data.
b. Download the Batch form the portal
c. If you run Balance Point apps close them out – read only stuff like Event Manager is okay to keep running – it’s apps that update that could possibly cause issues.
d. Close out any other apps and log everyone out of MAX, Dynamics or anything else attached to MAX.
e. Save to \Batches under the \ExactInstall folder
f. Extract the batch to \RMServer
g. Run MAX and update all the databases
h. Continue and open MAX and update the software
3) Restart Balance Point apps or other attached software
4) Update all clients
5) Login and check everything is working ok – do some checks
a. Browse the GL Account Table to make sure connection to GP is ok
b. Run the forms
i. Sales order
ii. Sales Acknowledgment
iii. Packing List
iv. Invoice
v. PO
vi. Quote
