MAX Product Lifecycle Management

At ECi Software, we recognize you’ve made a significant investment with us in choosing MAX – ERP Manufacturing Software. As we deliver new functionality and updates to provide you even more value for your investment, and consistent with software industry best‐practices, it is necessary for us to focus our resources on the most current products and technologies. We know that upgrading can involve hardware and/or operating system upgrades, which can be an expense for your business. To allow you to proactively plan your MAX upgrades, our MAX Product Lifecycle Management process is meant to provide you information on what you can expect from MAX in terms of support and fixes for a given release status.

Active: A product release that is supported by MAX, including full technical support for users with active maintenance agreements. NOTE: planned updates, ‘hotfix’ patches and service packs are only available on the most current release.

Deprecated: A product release which has been deprecated is no longer considered a supported release. Software versions that are deprecated are no longer supported through maintenance or subscription contracts, so we encourage customers to upgrade from these versions before their deprecation dates. Users on these releases will be referred to the Professional Services team for billable technical support.
